Teacher who resigned after OnlyFans page was exposed has been fired by new employer after just days

A former teacher who was forced to quit her job after her OnlyFans was discovered claims she’s been fired just days into her new job.

Brianna Coppage used to be an English teacher at St. Clair School in Saint Clair, Missouri, however, after her OnlyFans account came to light and she was placed on administrative leave in October 2023, she later resigned from her position.

And she’s since spoken out about starting a new role.

Coppage says she first began OnlyFans as a way to support her household while only on a teacher’s salary.

She told Fox News Digital: “I started it, one, to just supplement my income and kind of see what happens and possibly make extra money.

“Like, I have student loans. I was working on my third degree. So, I also have a master’s degree in education, and then I was working on my specialist degree.”

However, after her OnlyFans came to light at the school and she was placed on leave, she ultimately decided to resign.

The 28-year-old didn’t do too badly after leaving her high school position, telling KMOV she went on to make $1 million from her OnlyFans after it became public, a staggering figure compared to her yearly teaching salary of $42,000.

So why has she tried to go back to a normal job?

Brianna Coppage had been a teacher at the school for two years.

Despite the cash rolling in, Coppage opened up to the outlet about it being ‘tough’ on her mental health ‘not having to get up and go to a 9-to-5’.

So, with five years of teaching under her belt, she decided to try and transfer those skills and found a job as a community support specialist with Compass Health.

However, the role didn’t turn out as Coppage hoped, the OnlyFans star telling KMOV she ‘lasted five days’ at her new job before the company allegedly ‘put [her] on leave and subsequently fired [her]’.

She says gave the company her previous records of employment, but claims: “They admitted that they didn’t call my references or Google me before they hired me. They claim that I violated their social media policy, but will not respond to me with how I violated it.”

Teacher who quit job to become millionaire on OnlyFans says she doesn't do it for the money

A woman who ditched her teaching job to become an OnlyFans star insists that she doesn’t create racy content just for the money.

Courtney Tillia was once a special education needs teacher, and has a masters degree in education.

But Courtney, 36, and her husband Nick, who also used to be a teacher, were struggling to make ends meet by working in the eduction sector.

At one point the couple had to file bankruptcy and Courtney’s car was repossessed.

After working as a teacher for a decade, Nick left the profession to start his own business, and a year later Courtney followed suit.

Courtney is now a content creator and joined OnlyFans in 2019. She’s since gained worldwide recognition and made $1,700 in her first month on the platform.

As of last year, Courtney had three pages her subscription site and over 60,000 followers.

She makes her double her annual salary as a teacher in just a month, earning anywhere between $50,000 to $100,000.

With this in mind, in the space of three years, Nick and Courtney became millionaires.

While the financial gain of creating explicit content is clear, the mom-of-four insisted that she doesn’t do it just for the money.

Speaking on Dr. Phil last year, the veteran TV host asked Courtney: “Would you be doing this if all of a sudden you inherited $10 million?”

Courtney replied: “Yes. I’ve always said, because people always throw that out there as like a ‘gotcha’ question, [saying] ‘you did this only for money’. I love expressing myself.”

“This is who I am,” she added.

Nick also replied ‘absolutely’ to Dr. Phil’s question.

While her feature on the show dates back to last year, a clip of her interview has been doing the rounds again of late after Courtney shared it to her Instagram page – where she boasts 423,000 followers.

Courtney has thousands of OnlyFans subscribers.

She wrote alongside the snippet: “People can’t wrap their minds around the fact that we CHOSE this!

“We have flourishing coaching businesses and are very well educated! We had endless options, but this is the path we wanted!”

Courtney isn’t the first teacher to ditch her teaching job to take up content creation.

Sarah Juree was actually fired for having an OnlyFans page while working as an educator, but she went on to have the last laugh as she now rakes in more than six times her former annual salary.

A former teacher was forced to quit after her OnlyFans account was discovered, but she can console herself with the fact she’s making some serious dough on the adult content website.

Brianna Coppage, 28, was initially placed on administrative leave in September after it was discovered she had an account on the platform.

Coppage, who was English teacher at St. Clair High School in Saint Clair, Missouri, ultimately decided to resign, however.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Coppage explained that she has made $1 million on the platform since joining in summer and said she does not regret the decision.

She said that she started the account as a way to support her household in addition to her salary as a teacher.

“Like, I have student loans. I was working on my third degree. So, I also have a master’s degree in education, and then I was working on my specialist degree.”

She has previously explained that on average her OnlyFans would bring in around $8,000 to $10,000 per month. This was on top of her annual teacher’s salary of about $42,000 per year.

“I will also say that I have tens of thousands of fans now. And I have, you know, far exceeded my teacher salary for the year,” she said of the amount she is bringing in now.

Coppage explained that she knew the risks when she joined OnlyFans and that if given the opportunity she would do it again.

“I don’t regret it. I still strongly feel that. People are allowed to have personal lives outside of their career. And I’ve seen a lot of comments like, ‘Well, what if the students found it or it’s online? People are going to see it,” she added.

“And I don’t necessarily disagree with that. I know for a fact that, one, students are not the ones who found it. They’re not the ones who reported it. And they didn’t see it until adults posted my link in a community group.”

Coppage also clarified that when she was questioned by the Sullivan School District she was clear that she did all of her work for OnlyFans in her own personal time and not on school property.

The former teacher also explained she was aware of the moral objection against her choices to use the pornographic platform. However, she insisted she was not here to convince people what she does is right or wrong.

“There is this expectation that teachers should be the moral leaders of students, and I do not disagree with that,” Coppage has previously said.

“I taught the curriculum. I taught students reading and writing, and I didn’t guide them on my thoughts or beliefs. … And I can’t control what people think of me.”
