Pauley Perrette never fails to show off her unique personality with a touch of edginess, and her recent throwback photos are definitely evidence of this!
The NCIS actress’ appearance has always been part of her appeal – we’ve seen her transition from dirty blonde locks to jet black to her now vibrant multicolored style… And she always looks great!
In a new throwback post, she surprised her followers by revealing a completely different side of herself, showing off a completely bald look during what seemed like a photoshoot in New York.
Pauley boldly paired her stark appearance with a contrasting outfit, combining a floral maxi-skirt with a dark sweater and a white shirt underneath.
In her caption, she wrote: “Me at 20 something? Did it myself.”
Naturally, the post received an outpouring of compliments, with many fans praising her for rocking the bald look.
“You make all styles work. I absolutely adore you. Such a beautiful soul,” one person wrote.
Another added: “You look amazing! This is the one cut I haven’t had the guts to do yet.”
Someone else chimed in with: “Way to rock the bald head!”
When Pauley first joined social media in December, she showcased her fun-loving aesthetic with a selfie featuring bright pops of pink and yellow in her hair.
But she also took the chance to post some fantastic throwback images of herself with different hairstyles, including when she was in her blonder days before turning to acting.
One such image from 2001 showed her sporting blonde pigtails while on the Vans Warped Tour with her all-female band Lo-Ball.
Pauley is best known for her role as Abby Sciuto on the hit CBS drama NCIS, a role she kept for 15 seasons. Though, sadly, her ending on the show was quite acrimonious.
In 2017, she announced she was leaving NCIS. Then, just days later, she took to Twitter, where she implied she’d left the show due to “multiple physical” incidents.
Via Twitter, she shared an emotional farewell:
“I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years,” Pauley wrote. “All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration…I love her as much as you do.”
Saying goodbye to a character she had played for over a decade wasn’t easy for Pauley. Speaking with CBS Sunday Morning, the actress said she felt down about her departure from the popular show.
“It makes me sad to imagine a world without Abby in it. It really makes me sad,” Pauley said.
Well, we are definitely glad that Pauley is so active on social media – NCIS was never the same without her!
